New for late January!  Darth Animal presents Mos Eisley Remix, a great big "Star Wars" themed map for you to explore.  So, click on the button, and download it now, okay?  Oh, and check the foot of this page for two shots of Civil War Remix taken by BlobBlob... okay, we were fooling around at the bottom of the pit there... And Flame's latest map is 1-on-1 Church Remix, which we offer either with or without the ShaneChurch texture file - it's big, and you may have it already, or can copy it from your UT folder if you have that! And new for February: 1-0n-1 Lego Remix, grab it now!  And from
Flame
, even newer: Brotherhood of Fire!  This needs the quake3a
texture file - if you've not got it, get it
here!
The Download Page is under construction, only a few maps are there to download so far..but it will grow so that everyone can download all our maps. The Download- servers are from nab.com and Flame's 2 Tripod accounts..
Unfortunately, due to changes in the web, some downloads no longer work - if in doubt, head for Tmon & Tux's website!  You should find just about every NAB map that ever there was, waiting for you.
Adding new maps to your NAB game is easy; you need "winzip" to unzip the download (available here), just download the free trial version; then, click on a map to download it (well, with Homestead probably more than one click will be needed, but it is pretty simple!).  Choose the "open from location" option, which should mean that the "zip file" of the map ends up on your desktop when the download is finished.  Click on that icon, then agree that Winzip is cool (or something), then change the folder the file will unzip itself into to c:\program files\atari\nerf\maps (note the gap between program and files) - and unzip.  This opens up your maps file; add it to your favourites, so that you can access it easily in future.  If you have a texture file in the zip package as well, that needs to go in C:\program files\atari\nerf\textures - an easy way to open that is to open the zip file to that address!  If in doubt, just try to start or enter a game in that map - NAB will tell you if you are missing a "package", normally the name of a texture file.  Once you know the map works, you can delete the zip file from your desktop.
A LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY...

We have added the tlabcomp texture file, which you will need to play our huge and wonderful ATAT Barge Remix map - so grab them both!  We now have links to the Gators and Detail texture files as well, also needed for that map.

Darth Animal's nicest map is Urban Terror Remix - and it is absolutely wonderful, with fabulous gameplay, wonderful textures, and some special treats!  And I'd (probably) say the same even if my name wasn't Darth Animal!  Because of the enclosed custom textures file it is a 4.86MB zip file, but trust us, it is certainly worth it.  Obscura Remix is pretty good too, at 2.03MB including the richrig texture file... and
Sion Remix
is full of cobwebby goodness, while
Vindictive Remix
is richrig-cute, and Gladiator remix is new, frantic fun!  TieBay Remix has been upgraded to a second "][" version, so please replace the old map file - textures remain the same.  The map now has some cool sound effects, to add a little atmosphere!
uses the "richrig" texture file, which is included with Obscura Remix!
LukeDude's first screenshot for us - well, since he is in the pic I actually took it, but he posed it all, and generated the immobile Bots!
to run the arena, you need "deathstarpf" in your textures folder!

...and these are a pair of my recent ones, the big and beautiful Urban Uprising Remix (which uses the Plutonic Urban texture file, like Urban Terror Remix) and the fast and Richrig-rich Vex Remix. Oh, Flame says that his Slums of NYC Remix is a bit of a "beta" - you may have slight problems with the current version, particularly the sound!  But have fun with the maps, and see you online...   - Darth
Lukedude sent us a couple of recent screenshots, so here they are.  I'm not sure where the giant Sam came from, but it wasn't me!  - Darth
